Eliane Kobler

Eliane is a Research Assistant at the Weather and Climate Risks Group and MeteoSwiss. Her research focusses on impact estimations of tropical cyclones in the Weather4UN project.

Eliane holds an MSc and BSc in Environmental Systems and Policy from ETH Zurich. In her Master's thesis she assessed and compared different tropical cyclone storm surge models and estimated impacts in CLIMADA. Alongside her Master's degree, Eliane earned a didactics certificate in Environmental Studies. She also completed an internship in environmental education at the Pro Natura Visitor Center Aletsch.
