Kai Bergmüller

Kai is pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, specialising in Forest and Landscape Management, with a minor in Catchment Management and Natural Hazards. For his thesis project, Kai is using CLIMADA to determine fair market premiums based on the risk-return profile of natural catastrophe bonds compared to other investment assets. Additionally, he explores the potential for optimising insurance policies through a mix of single and multi-country bonds.

In his free time, Kai enjoys playing tennis, reading all kinds of books, and cooking delicious meals for his loved ones. He also loves outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and relaxing by the lake.
