Dr. Chahan Michael Kropf

Chahan is a PostDoc in the Weather and Climate Risks Group (Prof. Dr. David Bresch). From 2017 - 2019 he was a PostDoc in the "Interdisciplinary Laboratories for Advanced Materials Physics" at the università Cattolica di Brescia and in the research group "DYNamical systems and non equilibrium states of complex SYStems : MATHematical methods and physical concepts" of the INFN sezione di Pavia. There he worked on theoretical quantum technologies: quantum biology, quantum cryptography and quantum machine learning. He obtained PhD from the University of Freiburg-im-Breisgau in 2017 in the group of Quantum optics and Statistics (Prof. Dr. Andreas Buchleitner) with a thesis on the "Dynamics of disordered quantum systems".
