Lisa is pursuing her Master’s in Environmental Systems and Policy with a minor in Sustainable Energy Use. Building on her BSc in Environmental Sciences, she has developed a keen interest in natural hazard and quantitative climate risk modelling, focussing on strategic climate-resilient planning across industries. For her Master's thesis, Lisa is exploring the integration of social vulnerability into Climate Risk Assessments through a case study on human displacement caused by tropical cyclones in Florida and Cuba.

Outside of her studies, Lisa enjoys swimming and practicing yoga. She finds calmness in folding origami, reading, and travelling, and tries to always stay curious.
